Principles of Family/Youth Professional Partnership (PFYPP) One-Hour Online Training – FREE!

Course Overview: Learn the basic principles of Family & Youth Professional Partnerships.  This complimentary one hour training is for family members with Lived Experience who wish to learn more about working in the Children’s System of Care, Children, Youth & Family (CYF) program staff working with or interested in working with Youth/Family Support Partners (Y/FSP) within the Children, Youth & Family Behavioral Health System of Care (CYFBHSOC). Learn about guidelines and benefits of working with Youth/Family Support Partners.  1 CEH (Continuing Education Hours) hour will be available to those who qualify (by spending the entire hour in the training classroom).

This FREE, informative training is NOW AVAILABLE as a pre-recorded webinar, available to be taken at any time of the day and on any computer, smart phone or tablet device. Freshly updated December 2018 with most up-to-date, relevant information for Y/FSPs. Once you sign up for the Pre-recorded Training, you will receive instructions on how to access the training classroom. Upon completion of the one-hour training, you will take a comprehensive exam and evaluation. After your results have been tabulated, and generally within ONE WEEK of completion of the training, you will receive a certificate and your CEH (Continuing Education Hours) credit via email.

BHETA Online Trainings

Behavioral Health Education & Training Academy (BHETA), provides County of San Diego Behavioral Health System with staff development services that will increase competency in culture, co-occurring disorders, family centered services and resiliency as is required to outreach, assess, and support the recovery of severely mentally ill adults, children, and their families.

Funded via a contract with County of San Diego Mental Health MHSA, through Workforce Education and Training – training and technical assistance BHETA is part of a network of services made available by the county to behavioral health service providers.

BHETA is a County of San Diego Behavioral Health contracted program of the Academy for Professional Excellence, a project of the SDSU School of Social Work.

BHETA provides classes and conferences, curriculum development, trainer development, eLearning, training coordination, as well as consultation in each of these areas. BHETA provides workforce development services including staffing needs assessment, career paths analysis, and staff development.
