The Children, Youth & Family Liaison provides information and support to San Diego parents and caregivers of children or youth (youth defined as 25 and younger) who currently or historically received services within the Children, Youth & Family Behavioral Health Services System of Care.

Parents, families and caregivers of children and youth that are currently or formerly engaged in the San Diego County Behavioral Health Services Children’s System of Care, The Children, Youth & Family Liaison is your place to find regular support, resources, education and information to help you and your family.

We want to listen to you, and want to know about your experience, your voice and your values because you matter. The CYF Liaison is uniquely suited to take your opinions and experience back to the Children’s System of Care. We also bring important information, best practices and new programs from the administration to the community.

Additionally, The Children, Youth & Family Liaison is the Mental Health Service Act (MHSA) Resolution point-of contact for issues within the CYF Behavioral Health System of Care. For families who experience an issue or problem with within the Children, Youth and Family Behavioral Health System of Care, we can help. Email or call (858) 987-2980.

Family Voice Meetings
Opportunities for Youth, Parents, Caregivers of Children & Youth who have experience with San Diego’s Children, Youth & Family Behavioral Health Services to relay their experience, voice and values. Families will build community through fun activities and receive support to express issues, concerns, success and hopes. Meetings are held at least once a quarter in each San Diego Sector, Central, East County, North County and South Bay. The SOUTH Family Voice Meeting will be held on January 26, 2017 from 6:30-8:00 at the Chula Vista Public Library, South Branch, Room B, located at 389 Orange Ave, Chula Vista, CA 92111. A light supper will be served. Children and youth are welcome!
